When I heard we were going to read paradise lost I thought that it was going to be very complicated because it was going to be very focused on religion. Its not that I am not religious because I am, I do go to church I am just not an expert on reading the bible, but for some reason knowing all that I still chose to do that poem for my group presentation, and to my surprise when I started to read it, yes, it was hard because of the language but I enjoyed it and I do not think that you have to know the bible really well to understand it.
I think that anyone can understand it if they tried to really read and comprehend it, but as I was reading it I just kept thinking is paradise really lost? or have we as humans just gotten off track and have become more focused on now and materialistic things over the spiritual side of us. I think that this is one of those readings where you finish reading and you just start reflecting on everything, especially the future, well at least that is what happened to me.
